2.4. SUSTAINABILITY OF PROGRAM:

To ensure the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of the program, Dependable Foundation Uganda has outlined several strategies:

  • Regular follow-up assessments for the 500 trainers, conducted every three months, to evaluate the impact of their training and address any challenges.
  • Facilitation of networking opportunities to connect trainers with relevant stakeholders in their field for ongoing support, guidance, and collaboration.
  • Linking trainees who receive startup capital to entrepreneurial savings and credit cooperatives (SACCOs) to foster financial independence and provide ongoing support in financial skills and accountability.
  • Comprehensive follow-up measures to ensure the program’s impact endures beyond the initial sessions, empowering trainees to become self-reliant and effective advocates in their communities.

This approach will foster a holistic and inclusive learning environment, enriched by the participation of individuals with a range of perspectives and expertise.
