Our Mandate
Dependable Foundation supports teenage pregnant girls that were molested and neglected. We walk a journey with these girls by increasing community awareness of unintended early pregnancy, providing Birth kits and working Hand in Hand with Government Hospitals to ensure safe delivery.

Dependable Foundation Uganda is a Non-government and Non-profit organization that supports the needs of marginalized young women and adolescents. Through providing of social community reintegration, skilling and enterprise initiatives aiming at empowering them to make better decisions in life.

WHAT WE DO?
What we strive for?
Dependable Foundation Uganda strives to develop and mobilize knowledge, expertise and abilities to support sustainable development. We support women and children through mobilizing sustainable solutions to empower them economically, psychologically and financially. We support families in need through our outreach programs and believe in giving second chances to life.
Our organization is designed to identify challenges women and children face within the society; we speak up on their behalf, advocate for their rights and engage on person-to-person basis. As Dependable Foundation Uganda, we truly understand where women and children come from, therefore our focus is on identifying community-based issues that are complex, we educate society and directly transform them into better people.
We are aware of the challenges women and children face, especially from issues like gender based violence, inequality and limited economic participation. We use our available resources to ensure economic empowerment and equality in society. We defend the physical and emotional wellbeing among women through mentorship and coaching programs. Through this, women are able to support their children and families, become economically empowered and make sound decisions on their own. We also promote the girl-child through scholarships as means to create employment opportunities in the future.
